We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Integration Specialist to design develop and maintain integrations that connect Workday with third-party systems including Benefits and Payroll vendors.
The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Workday Studio Workday Orchestrate and Workday APIs along with proven experience delivering secure scalable and efficient integration solutions.
This role requires a certified Workday Integration professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to optimize data flow and enhance overall HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
Design develop and support complex Workday integrations using Workday Studio Workday Orchestrate Core Connectors and EIBs.
Build and maintain integrations leveraging Workday REST/SOAP APIs and web services.
Develop and manage end-to-end integrations with third-party Payroll and Benefits vendors (e.g. ADP Fidelity Alight Mercer etc.).
Ensure data accuracy security and compliance across all integration touchpoints.
Collaborate with HR Payroll Benefits and IT teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs.
Monitor troubleshoot and resolve integration errors in production environments.
Participate in Workday release management regression testing and impact assessments.
Maintain technical documentation including design specs mappings and support guides.
Continuously assess integration performance and recommend process improvements or automation opportunities.
Requirements
Required:
Workday Integration Certification (Studio Core Connector Orchestrate).
5 years of hands-on experience developing Workday integrations using Studio APIs Orchestrate and related tools.
Strong understanding of Workday data models business processes and security frameworks.
Proven experience integrating with third-party Payroll and Benefits vendors.
Technical proficiency in XML XSLT XPATH Web Services (REST/SOAP) JSON and file transfer protocols (SFTP/HTTPS).
Strong analytical troubleshooting and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
Experience with global integrations and multi-country payroll solutions.
Familiarity with Workday Extend BIRT reporting or Workday Reporting and Calculated Fields.
Background in HR Payroll or Benefits administration systems.
