Project Coordinator Summary
A well-established commercial construction firm is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Project Coordinator to support a large-scale data center project in Moncks Corner SC. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and a desire to grow within the construction industry. Prior construction experience is not required but candidates should have proven experience supporting fast-paced teams and managing complex documentation.
Project Coordinator Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and organizational support to the on-site project management team throughout the duration of the data center project
- Track compile and manage project documentation such as submittals RFIs meeting minutes and change orders
- Maintain and update project logs reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and accessibility
- Support scheduling efforts by coordinating meetings managing calendars and ensuring timely communication with stakeholders
- Assist with onboarding subcontractors processing documentation and organizing files in accordance with company standards
- Communicate effectively with internal teams vendors and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow
- Assist with travel arrangements supply ordering and general site office support as needed
Project Coordinator Requirements
- 2 years of administrative office coordination or project support experience; experience in construction or engineering is a plus but not required
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook) and ability to learn project management platforms
