What will you do

As an Assistant Controller you will hold a varied challenging and responsible position. You will assist the CFO with the Planning & Control cycle (monthly figures forecasts budget) and perform related financial tasks and analyses.

Your activities will include cash and liquidity management (preparing payments performing analyses managing accounts receivable and payable) bookkeeping (general ledger banks balance specifications) and inventory management within the ERP system (reconciliations).

You will also prepare CBS statistical reports manage the insurance portfolio and participate in various financial projects and analyses.

You ensure the financial administration is accurate and timely reporting is provided to the CFO the local management team the ArcelorMittal Shared Service Centre and the external accountant for the annual audit.

In short as an Assistant Controller at Riwald you will have a wide range of responsibilities that go beyond simply preparing monthly quarterly and annual closings.

Your Profile

Bachelors degree in Finance & Control Business Economics or Accountancy (HBO level)

Experience as a Junior Controller ready for the next career step

Analytical structured and responsible with a focus on meeting deadlines

Strong communication skills; fluent in Dutch and English (German is a plus)

Proficient in Excel; experience with Exact and SAP is an advantage
