Job Summary:
Our experienced and courteousCorporate Driverwill assist in providing transportation services to our corporations professionals and patients. Our Driver role is a contingent position providing support from potential early mornings to late nights which may include weekends based in need. The Driver will be able to make intelligent informed decisions in real time about peoples safety as circumstances are ever changing. Desired candidates display a high degree of professionalism and have experience with providing high levels of customer service to clients while demonstrating consistent communication to both clients and leadership.

Duties:
  • Operates assigned vehicle skillfully and safely; navigates extreme weather in a cautious manner
  • Performs pre-trip checklist to safely prepare vehicle
  • Must have and uphold an excellent attendance record; dependable and on time for all assignments
  • Participates in cross-training activities with other transportation roles; miscellaneous tasks and errands in between assignments
  • Transports physicians between our Flint Warren Fenton and Dearborn facilities as needed
  • Treats passengers with the utmost respect and courteousness; upholds professionalism tactfulness and discretion
  • Champions all Department of Transportation rules and regulations
  • Maintains confidentiality
  • Performs general maintenance and other facility support tasks as needed during driver downtime
  • Regularly communicates with leadership in regard to expectations and time frames
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Able to provide eligibility for employment for any U.S. employer
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates Degree is a plus
  • Has and upholds a clean driving record with no tickets or accidents within the last 3 years
  • Ability to lift 40-60 lbs
  • Upholds a professional image at all times
  • Ability to pass a 10-panel drug test including marijuana
  • Must be able to operate an app-based smart phone to communicate in an effective manner
  • Flexible schedule; open to early mornings and late nights
  • Eager to help; performs miscellaneous tasks to support Insight while experiencing downtime
  • Ability to relate and work effectively with others
  • Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards
  • Proven excellence in patient safety and care
  • Friendly empathetic & respectful
  • Reliable in work results timeliness & attendance
  • Ability to relate to and work effectively with a wonderfully diverse populace
