The Fire Engineer will conduct the most complex preventive maintenance repair replacement installation and commissioning of fire protection systems. This role involves consulting with customers on building systems to ensure their satisfaction and optimal performance. Additionally the Fire Engineer will provide work direction to technicians designers and engineers ensuring all tasks are executed to the highest standard.
How you will do it:
- Perform complex preventive maintenance and repairs on fire protection systems.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of fire safety systems and equipment.
- Engage with customers to evaluate their needs and ensure satisfaction with fire protection solutions.
- Direct and mentor technicians designers and engineers to achieve project objectives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
- Document maintenance activities and report on system performance and issues.
- Stay updated on the latest fire safety technologies and best practices.
What we look for
- Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in fire protection engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of fire safety regulations codes and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
