- Manage all aspects of hotel reservations including phone and written inquiries ensuring accurate record-keeping and inventory control.
- Maximise occupancy and revenue through yield management up-selling techniques and cross-selling of hotel outlets.
- Handle VIP and press arrivals coordinating with other departments to accommodate special requests.
- Oversee billing processes including deposits and credit approvals in line with Accounts guidelines.
- Maintain guest satisfaction by providing personalised service utilising guest history files and addressing complaints promptly.
- Collaborate with the sales team passing on leads and managing luxury consortia relationships.
- Generate daily weekly and monthly reports and maintain in-house reservation systems.
- Continuously develop and improve reservation processes updating templates as necessary.
- Assist with additional tasks as determined by the Head of Revenue and Marketing.
