Job Summary
Job title: Assistant General Manager
Location: McLeodganjNaukuchiatal (PAN INDIA)
Industry: Travel Tourism and Hotel Industry
Experience Required: Minimum 6 Years in Hotel Management
Responsibilities:-
- Oversee the operations of the property as per the Organizational chart.
- Hold regular briefings and meetings with all heads of departments and team members.
- Ensure full compliance to Hotel operating controls SOPs policies procedures and service standards.
- Lead all key property issues including improvements and upgradation projects customer service and refurbishment.
- Handling complaints and overseeing the service recovery procedures.
- Responsible for the preparation presentation and subsequent achievement of the Propertys annual OperatingBudget
- Manage on-going profitability of the hotel ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded.
- Ensure all decisions are made in the best interest of the hotels and management.
- Developing improvement actions carry outcosts savings.
- A strong understanding of P&L statements and the ability to react with impactful strategies
- Maximizing room yields revenue through innovative sales practices.
- Work along with the revenue management team in devising methodologies for maximizing revenue
- Act as a final decision maker in hiring key staff at the property.
- Overseeing and managing all departments and working closely with department heads on a daily basis.
- Manage and develop the Hotel Executive team to ensure career progression and development.
- Be accountable for responsibilities of department heads and take ownership of all guest complaints.
- Provide effective leadership to property team members.
Qualifications
- Experience of at least 6 -7 year in service industry preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Self Starter and willing to take risks
- Available to work anytime including weekends
- Excellent management and team skills
- Education in Hospitality Hotel Management Mandatory
