Location: Santiago de los Caballeros Dominican Republic (Regional Scope Caribbean & Latin America)

Modality: Full-time On-site with frequent regional travel

Purpose of the Role

The Regional EHS Manager will oversee all Environment Health and Safety (EHS) programs across the region ensuring full compliance with international and local standards.
This role requires a proactive analytical and strategic professional capable of developing implementing and monitoring effective EHS initiatives that promote a culture of safety well-being and sustainability throughout all regional operations.
It also involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and frequent regional travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and implement regional EHS strategies aligned with global policies and local legislation.

• Conduct audits inspections and risk assessments to ensure safe and compliant operations.

• Develop and deliver training programs to enhance safety culture and awareness across all sites.

• Monitor analyze and report EHS metrics proposing corrective and preventive actions.

• Manage incident investigations ensuring accurate documentation root cause analysis and follow-up.

• Maintain current knowledge of environmental occupational health and safety regulations.

• Support site leaders in achieving EHS performance targets and obtaining relevant certifications.

• Act as the main liaison with regulatory authorities and corporate stakeholders on EHS matters.

Education

Bachelors degree in EHS Safety Engineering or Industrial Engineering

Experience

Minimum 5 years in EHS management preferably within a multinational or regional context

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS management systems

Soft Skills

Strong analytical problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills

Languages

Excellent command of Spanish and English (verbal and written)

Adaptability

Ability to perform effectively in dynamic environments with shifting priorities

Travel

Availability for frequent regional travel

• Monthly Salary Range: USD depending on experience.
