Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk Analyst. The Risk Analyst will play a critical role in identifying assessing and managing potential risks that may impact the companys operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of risk management principles excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex information to stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough risk assessments of current and potential business activities processes and projects
- Identify and analyze potential risks and their potential impact on the companys operations
- Develop and implement risk management strategies and plans to mitigate identified risks
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management strategies and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure compliance with risk management policies and procedures
- Provide regular reports and updates on risk management activities to senior management
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in risk management to continuously improve the companys risk management processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Finance or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in risk management preferably in the energy industry
- Strong understanding of risk management principles and methodologies
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and assess potential risks
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information to stakeholders at all levels
- Proven experience in developing and implementing risk management strategies and plans
- Proficiency in risk management software and tools
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Willingness to travel as needed
