About the Role:

Were seeking a hands-on Domestic Airfreight Manager to join a fast-paced and growing logistics operation in Las Vegas. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional with deep experience in domestic airfreight forwarding or expedited logistics someone who thrives under pressure leads by example and understands how to move time-critical shipments efficiently and reliably.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop a small but high-performing airfreight or brokerage team.
Oversee day-to-day airfreight operations including quoting routing dispatching and execution of domestic shipments.
Manage and build relationships with airline partners agents and carriers.
Integrate truck brokerage for ground support and ensure smooth coordination between air and ground transport.
Ensure compliance with airline routing cut-off times and carrier service levels.
Drive operational excellence by setting performance standards and leading from the front as a player-coach.
Identify process improvements to enhance service quality speed and profitability.
Contribute to business development through existing relationships and new opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience:

Required:

Proven experience in domestic airfreight forwarding or expedited logistics.
Strong operational knowledge of airline routing quoting and dispatching processes.
Ability to manage time-critical shipments and make fast informed decisions.
Demonstrated problem-solving accountability and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

Experience with WorldTrack TMS and 7L software.
Ability to book airfreight shipments directly with carriers.
Prior leadership or team management experience (player-coach mindset).
Knowledge of ground transportation integration for domestic expedite operations.
