We are seeking an experienced Licensed Land Surveyor / Survey Manager to lead our growing survey operations in Winston-Salem North Carolina. In this senior leadership position you will oversee multiple field crews and office technicians ensuring the successful delivery of civil and transportation survey projects for public and private clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily operations of field crews and survey technicians.
- Oversee all phases of surveying for transportation roadway and utility corridor projects.
- Enforce QA/QC standards manage project budgets and schedules and maintain strong client relationships.
- Coordinate with VDOT and local municipalities on project deliverables.
- Prepare and review survey proposals reports and mapping deliverables.
- Mentor and develop team members through one-on-one coaching and performance evaluations.
- Support business development efforts and client relationship building to grow regional operations.
Required Qualifications
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license or eligibility to obtain within six (6) months (exam fees covered by the company).
- 12 years of progressive survey experience including 5 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Proven background in DOT or municipal survey projects.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bentley MicroStation / OpenRoads.
- Strong knowledge of federal state and local survey regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors in Surveying Civil Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with subsurface utility locating/designating LiDAR aerial mapping or sUAS (drone) operations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a focus on team development and client satisfaction.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $85000 - $145000 (based on experience licensure and leadership scope).
- Sign-on Bonus: $5000 - $10000 (paid after 90 days; relocation assistance available).
