Who are we looking for
We are seeking a Senior Engineer or Technical Director Mechanical to join our Building Services team in Sydney. The role will focus on growing GHDs presence and opportunities with our key clients across the broader NSW market and have particular focus on transport and other critical infrastructure projects.
Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Strengthen and grow existing client connections and support the building of relevant new relationships as a trusted technical advisor working with existing Market Leaders.
- Creating a collaborative environment to deliver work with other disciplines and achieve project outcomes
- Providing technical expertise in Mechanical Building Services HVAC & BMCS.
- Technical Leadership across complex multi-disciplinary projects
- Leading engineering design solutions for a diverse range of clients across
Mentoring and developing team members to become consulting engineers
What would you bring to the team
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- High level market awareness and business development skills with a strong focus on client engagement and a well-established network of relationships across potential clients.
- Extensive experience in Building Services Engineering and ideally in consulting or background in managing client relationships
- Project experience across mission critical infrastructure including but not limited to Health Education Data Centres and Transport
- In-depth technical knowledge of Mechanical Engineering design and applicable Australian Codes and Standards
