Job Summary
Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead Supplier Quality initiatives based out of Everett or Renton Washington.
This individual will leverage their production and quality expertise combined with a strong understanding of fundamental Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) principles to drive successful project execution. The ideal candidate will be adept at interpreting complex data driving cross-organizational actions and communicating effectively with all levels of the organization including executives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage supplier quality projects from initiation through successful implementation ensuring alignment with organizational goals and PMBOK standards
Collaborate closely with production quality and supply chain teams to identify analyze and resolve supplier quality issues
Utilize production and quality experience to assess supplier processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Interpret and analyze data to identify trends risks and opportunities and translate findings into actionable plans
Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely resolution of supplier quality challenges and project milestones
Communicate project status risks and outcomes clearly and effectively to executive leadership and stakeholders
Facilitate problem-solving sessions and decision-making processes to maintain project momentum
Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members on best practices in project management and supplier quality
Ensure compliance with company policies industry standards and regulatory requirements related to supplier quality
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree; advanced degree preferred
3 years of experience with the Boeing Production System
3 years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in production quality industrial engineering and/or supplier quality management
Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects using PMBOK principles
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage and influence executives and cross-functional teams
Collaborative and driven mindset with a focus on delivering results
Experience with quality management systems (e.g. ISO AS9100) and supplier quality tools (e.g. APQP PPAP FMEA) is highly desirable
PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is a plus
