Job Overview:The Project Manager will be responsible for planning executing and overseeing a variety of projects at Greentown House ensuring they meet the companys sustainability goals timelines and budget. You will work closely with different teams across the organization including product development marketing operations and leadership to ensure all project deliverables are met.
This role requires strong organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to manage both people and resources effectively. Youll be expected to manage the entire project lifecycledefining objectives developing plans tracking progress and ensuring successful execution.
Key Responsibilities:Project Planning & Strategy:
Lead the development and execution of project plans including timelines milestones and deliverables.
Define project scope goals and objectives in alignment with company priorities and sustainability goals.
Work with stakeholders to determine project requirements budgets and resource allocation.
Create detailed project schedules and work breakdown structures (WBS).
Team Collaboration & Leadership:
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (design marketing operations etc.) to execute projects.
Provide clear direction and support to team members ensuring tasks are assigned appropriately and on time.
Lead and facilitate project meetings ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on project goals and progress.
Foster a collaborative and positive team environment encouraging open communication and problem-solving.
Project Execution & Monitoring:
Monitor project progress and performance against timelines budgets and quality standards.
Identify and resolve any issues risks or roadblocks that may arise during the project lifecycle.
Ensure that project objectives are met while maintaining focus on the companys sustainability and eco-conscious values.
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and project milestones.
Budget & Resource Management:
Develop and manage project budgets ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Allocate resources effectively balancing workloads and ensuring the right skills are available for each project phase.
Track and manage expenses approve invoices and ensure financial reporting aligns with project budgets.
Stakeholder Communication & Reporting:
Communicate regularly with project stakeholders keeping them updated on progress changes and challenges.
Prepare and present regular project updates to leadership highlighting successes risks and any adjustments needed.
Ensure client and stakeholder satisfaction through timely and transparent communication.
Risk Management:
Post-Project Evaluation & Reporting:
Conduct post-project reviews documenting lessons learned successes and areas for improvement.
Provide detailed reports on project outcomes and impact ensuring alignment with sustainability goals.
Share insights with the team to refine future project management processes and strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Business Project Management Sustainability or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a Project Manager ideally within a sustainability green-tech or related field.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile Waterfall Scrum etc.).
Proficiency with project management software (e.g. Asana Trello Jira ) and MS Office Suite.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly present ideas to stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to work independently and manage remote teams across different time zones.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
Preferred Skills:PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification.
Experience with sustainability-focused projects or green-tech initiatives.
Knowledge of sustainable project management practices and green building certifications (e.g. LEED).
Familiarity with Agile or Lean project management methodologies.
Familiarity with CRM financial software and analytics tools.
