Driving Required
Lower end of range will apply to candidates who meet minimum experience or have limited years of relevant experience. The higher end of range will apply to seasoned candidates with considerable years of relevant experience.

PATH is seeking candidates passionate about helping others make a positive change in their lives to join our Interim Housing team as the Program Associate at the RHC location.

Since its foundation in 1984 PATH (People Assisting The Homeless) has pioneered bold and effective approaches to assist people experiencing homelessness. PATH operates services throughout California connecting our clients to a comprehensive continuum of homelessness prevention street outreach employment preparation and placement assistance individualized case management supportive services interim housing and permanent supportive housing.

ABOUT THE JOB
As part of the Interim Housing team theProgram Specialist works under the supervision of department leadership to support the programmatic and operational needs throughout the this role this position acts as a liaison between support departments programs and community stakeholders. The program specialist will support with coordinating meetings drafting documents and serve as a backup when needed.

Position Responsibilities include:

  • Provide support such as drafting and editing emails documents and communications on behalf of the supervisor.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate record.
  • Support with internal and external inquiries related to program.
  • Assist the supervisor with processing and completing task related to human resources quality assurance finance and external affairs
  • Support with developing reports and other presentations.
  • Monitor and input data collection.
  • Provide back-up support for other tasks within the department
  • Office management duties including but not limited to: IT support and maintenance of building.
  • Support other staff/programs as needed.
  • Provide a high-quality customer service environment for all guests.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors Degree in a related field such as business administration organizational leadership or nonprofit management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • One (1) year of experience providing administrative support in a professional environment.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Regardless of qualifications candidates must:

  • Have employment eligibility verification
  • Have or be able and willing to obtain CPR/First Aid training
  • Successfully complete the following as a condition of hire:
    • Tuberculosis Test
    • Background Screening
    • Drug Test

DRIVING
Driving is an essential function of this position. To meet the employment requirements for this role all candidates must:

  • Have reliable transportation
  • A valid drivers license
  • Proof of insurance and ownership for personal vehicles used during work duties
  • The ability to qualify for PATHs insurance coverage
