Job Summary

As our HR Manager you will take ownership of all core HR functions providing both strategic direction and hands-on support across the business. Youll work closely with senior leaders and team managers to drive employee engagement compliance and a strong company culture.

Part-Time position (9am-2:30pm Monday-Friday)

Salary range between $50 000-$60 000 based on experience

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
Provide expert guidance on New Zealand employment law and best practice
Maintain and update HR policies employment agreements and compliance procedures
Support managers with performance reviews KPIs and employee development
Handle employment relations matters including conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures
Oversee training and development planning
Coordinate payroll input and support remuneration reviews
Champion health safety and employee wellbeing initiatives
Lead culture and engagement activities across the business

What Were Looking For

5 years of generalist HR experience ideally in construction development or similar industries
In-depth knowledge of New Zealand employment law and HR practices
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proactive organised and comfortable working independently
Experience with HRIS systems and modern HR tools
Relevant tertiary qualification in HR Business or a related field
