Procurement Performance Lead

Were looking for a Procurement Performance Lead to join our high-performing Vendor Management this role youll co-lead procurement activities drive excellence in RFQ/RFP processes and strengthen vendor relationships to deliver world-class outcomes for Kotahi and its customers.

Youll be responsible for:

• Leading procurement process activity and ensuring data integrity
• Driving ocean freight procurement and holding stakeholders accountable
• Building and managing vendor relationships aligned to Kotahis strategy
• Analysing market data to support procurement decisions and customer proposals
• Resolving service escalations and supporting contractual execution
• Collaborating with commercial teams to deliver compelling customer solutions
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and driving continuous enhancement
  

About You

Youre a rare blend of commercial acumen and analytical capability. On one hand you can build strong genuine relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders influencing outcomes and fostering collaboration. On the other youre comfortable diving deep into spreadsheets and market data.

You bring:

• Deep knowledge of NZs ocean freight commercial landscape and carrier pricing
• Experience in RFQ/RFP/tender process management
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and vendor relationship skills
• Analytical proficiency with large and complex data sets
• Ability to balance relationship-building with detailed data analysis
• 5 years in a commercial supply chain/logistics environment
• A relevant tertiary qualification in commerce business or supply chain
