What You Will Be Working On

• Evaluate existing business processes to identify innovative solutions to enhance business processes optimization.

• Support the development and implementation of process enhancement initiatives under the guidance of leadership and senior team members.

• Participate in cross-functional discussions focused on process improvement and contribute to project execution.

• Use data analytics tools to help identify process gaps trends and performance metrics.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data and requirements and support the communication of proposed changes.

• Review create and maintain process documentation including workflows procedures and standards.

• Monitor and analyze performance data and generate reports to track progress and highlight improvement areas.

• Support the development of Power BI dashboards and reports to develop analytical insights and respond to business inquiries and external reporting requests.

• Support change management efforts to facilitate the adoption of new processes.

• Assist in training sessions and provide support to team members adapting to process changes.

• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in business process management.

• Help identify risks in business processes and contribute ideas and efforts to develop and implement mitigation strategies.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related discipline or equivalent experience in Finance functions.

• 3-5 years of experience in finance business analysis or process improvement; exposure to payroll and/or procure-to-pay (P2P) processes is an asset.

• Familiarity with ERP or operational systems related to Finance functions (e.g. AP AR Payroll GL) is preferred.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ability to create complex formulas pivot tables and perform data analysis; knowledge of VBA and macros is an asset.

• Experience analyzing data in Power BI reporting; dashboard development experience is an asset.

• Experience with Viewpoint (TC1) is an asset but not required.

• Basic understanding of payroll and P2P processes and Canadian regulatory requirements is beneficial.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process efficiency.

• Self-starter able to work independently with a willingness to learn and contribute in a team-oriented environment.
