Main Responsibilities
Develop and implement the annual Public Relations and media communication plan for the Nigerian market to ensure consistent brand communication.
Establish and maintain good relationships with mainstream media KOLs industry associations and government entities;
Plan and execute public relations projects such as brand press conferences media communication meetings product launches CSR activities etc.;
Draft and review external communication materials such as press releases media advisories crisis statements and speeches;
Monitor and analyze brand public sentiment develop crisis response plans and safeguard brand perception;
Collaborate with the digital marketing team to enhance the brands public relations influence on social media and digital channels;
Manage and evaluate the performance of external Public Relations (PR) agencies and partners to ensure efficient use of resources;
Regularly produce public relations communication effectiveness reports and market insights to support the optimization of brand communication strategies.
Job Requirements
Bachelors degree or above in Public Relations Communication Marketing Journalism or a related field;
More than 5 years of experience in public relations or media communication (preferably with experience in the technology or mobile phone industry);
Familiar with the Nigerian media ecosystem and local culture and possess excellent media relationship networks;
Has local Public Relations agency resources and good management capabilities enabling efficient coordination with external partners;
Has strong government relations;
Results-driven able to work efficiently in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment;
Can respond quickly and can take timely action and provide effective solutions in emergencies or public opinion crises
