Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Facility Manager to join our client in Port Harcourt. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing building operations maintenance and ensuring a safe efficient and well-functioning work environment.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily facility operations including maintenance security and office services
Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs for buildings equipment and infrastructure
Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations
Coordinate with vendors contractors and service providers for facility-related projects
Develop and manage facility budgets and monitor operational costs
Implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and facility performance
Respond promptly to facility-related issues and emergencies
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Facility Management Engineering or related field
Minimum of 35 years experience in facility management or related role
Strong knowledge of building systems maintenance practices and safety regulations
Excellent organizational communication and problem-solving skills
Professional certifications (e.g. IFMA BIFM) are an advantage
