Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am 5:30pm (Office-based)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join the finance and HR team of a prestigious resort in Kildare. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-driven organised professional who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end payroll process for both bi-weekly and monthly payrolls ensuring accuracy compliance and timely delivery. You will work closely with HR and Finance to maintain exceptional payroll standards in line with the resorts commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and process bi-weekly and monthly payrolls for all departments.
Ensure full compliance with revenue and employment legislation.
Maintain accurate employee records including new hires terminations and changes.
Liaise with HR and department managers to resolve payroll queries promptly.
Prepare and submit relevant payroll reports and reconciliations.
Manage pension contributions benefit deductions and other statutory payments.
Support internal and external audits.
Continuously review and improve payroll processes and systems for efficiency.
Requirements
23 years payroll experience ideally within the hospitality sector.
Strong working knowledge of Irish payroll legislation and systems (Micropay)
Exceptional attention to detail and confidentiality.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage deadlines and work accurately under pressure.
A proactive hands-on approach with excellent organisational skills.
Good Presentation & Influencing Skills
Ability to work autonomously and be self starting
