As the School Psychologist you will play a crucial role in planning implementing coordinating and evaluating school health services. Your objective will be to maximize in-class time by reducing health-related absenteeism minimize learning-impairing health problems and foster the highest level of independent functioning possible.

Position Summary:

Provide empathetic counseling guidance and mentorship to students experiencing emotional behavioral or social challenges.
Conduct classroom and school-based observations to gather meaningful insights that inform intervention and support planning.
Promote student wellness by teaching and reinforcing key life skills such as communication self-regulation problem-solving and emotional awareness.

Requirements

Active school psychology license issued by the Illinois Board of Psychology.
Certification from the National Association of School Psychology is preferred.
Possess at least a Masters degree or higher in an Educational Psychology-related field.
