As an Experienced Associate you will support engagements that bridge strategy and technology helping teams translate business requirements into actionable solutions perform analysis and contribute to the design and execution of digital transformation programs. You will collaborate closely with business leaders technologists and engineers to ensure business goals are supported by scalable data-driven and technology-enabled solutions.

Competency Overview: Enterprise & Functional Strategy

Enterprise & Functional Strategy (EFS) a key pillar of the Strategy platform reshapes enterprise costs to fuel growth. It helps clients holistically transform enterprise cost structures in accordance with corporate strategy by re-allocating spend from commodity capabilities toward differentiating capabilities. Key capabilities include cost baselining and analytics benchmarking opportunity identification value realization strategies process optimization functional transformation (e.g. SG&A Finance HR etc. functions) enterprise operating model design and more. EFS also embeds adaptive cross-functional strategies to outperform market shifts - developing and executing go-to-market (GTM) strategies market entry strategies enterprise growth strategies and boldly transforming front middle and back-office functions.

Thus as changing business dynamics and processes drive disruption across industries our community of problem solvers partners with client teams to ensure seamless alignment of their people processes and strategy.

Job Description

Job responsibilities include activities centered around client business challenges and opportunities e.g. conduct analyses and develop insights create financial models analyze large sets of data work directly with project teams facilitate meetings to enable decision making support analysis and client conversations organize and prepare recommendations to address client problems and participate actively in new business development thought leadership and firm building activities.

Depending on the project you will be involved throughout the project life cycle adding value during the problem structuring and analysis phases. Responsibilities include understanding clients capabilities business context assessing current organization structure and operating model conducting end-to-end value chain diagnostics to unlock levers that can produce sustained performance improvement. Additionally the role involves designing a future state structure incorporating innovative solutions and emerging technologies and enabling change management to ensure seamless integration and adoption of new processes.

Core Responsibilities of Experienced Associate would entail (not limited to)

As part of the team youll collaborate with experienced consultants and industry professionals to help clients address complex business challenges. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support requirement gathering efforts to capture business needs and translate them into clear structured functional and technical specifications

  • Assist in creating financial and operational business cases to quantify transformation impact and validate strategic investments

  • Conduct primary and secondary research to understand industry trends client challenges and emerging technology opportunities

  • Perform diagnostic assessments and data analysis to identify process inefficiencies cost levers and opportunities for digital enablement

  • Contribute to the design testing and rollout of AI-driven tools automation workflows and data or analytics platforms that address client challenges

  • Gain understanding of how cloud architectures APIs and data platforms support digital transformation at scale

  • Work closely with Managers and global client teams to prepare presentations data-backed recommendations and project documentation

  • Support communication and adoption efforts to ensure successful implementation of new digital tools and processes

  • Participate in internal knowledge-building initiatives case study development and digital accelerator creation to strengthen PwCs transformation capabilities

Knowledge Preferred:

Candidates are expected to demonstrate foundational knowledge in one or more areas of technology along with strong analytical skills to effectively understand and address client needs:

Must-have skills

  • Apply analytical problem- solving and critical-thinking skills to evaluate operational challenges and improvement opportunities
  • Interpret and visualize data to produce actionable insights and executive ready recommendations

  • Demonstrate self-awareness adaptability and commitment to PwCs quality standards ethics and values

  • Ability to break down complex business problems into structured analyses and derive actionable insights

  • Interest in connecting business objectives with digital and technical solutions; ability to document and communicate requirements clearly

  • Proficiency in Excel PowerPoint and Power BI with exposure to Alteryx Tableau or low-code/no-code tools being an advantage

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary and global teams

  • Eagerness to learn explore new technologies and stay current on digital transformation trends and enterprise systems

Eligibility Criteria

  • MBA / PGDM from a premier/ tier 1 B-School

  • 2 - 4 years post MBA relevant experience in strategy consulting with expertise in large scale transformations (Growth Strategy Business Model Reinvention Enterprise Digital Value Transformation ERP) business strategy business value acceleration enterprise-level growth

  • Exposure to a multinational environment will be an added bonus
