Job Summary
Location: Stuart
Join Aurizons Rostering team and play a pivotal role in keeping Australias freight network moving. As part of our operations planning team youll ensure that the right people resources and schedules are in place to deliver safe efficient and reliable rail services every day.
Youll take ownership of crew rosters resource planning and service scheduleshelping us meet customer expectations and operational targets while maintaining our commitment to safety and wellbeing.
About the role:
- Ensure resources and schedules are prepared in accordance with operational requirements and enterprise agreements.
- Build leave rosters and monitoring of freight requirements.
- Perform and assist the wider team in maximising efficiency and meeting collaborative deadlines and targets.
- Assist teams with changes to service plans asset loading resource allocations and customer requirements.
- Accountable for preparing all relevant rosters for crews with timing and accuracy and assisting other team members as required.
- Responsible for ensuring that employees with the appropriate operational knowledge are placed on rosters.
- Monitor fatigue management in line with rostering and fatigue management principals.
- Committed to safety within the team and the wider business.
About you:
- Exceptional attitude towards safety and demonstrated safe behaviours in the workplace.
- A dedicated team player with superior attention to detail and ability to be flexible.
- Have a broad administration skill set with significant computer and excel experience.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Ability to engage and build strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers.
- Excellent time management and ability to keep calm under pressure.
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Microsoft suite and sound general knowledge of rostering software.
