What we do:

Were looking for a detail-driven and proactive Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in Fargo. Reporting directly to the CFO this position plays a key role in supporting both financial strategy and day-to-day operations with the highest level of excellence. Core responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records preparing monthly and annual reports and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Youll manage everything from general ledger and reconciliations to supporting audits budgets and grant tracking all while contributing to the organizations financial transparency and operational success.

This is a great opportunity for someone who not only values precision in accounting work but is also passionate about continuous improvement in financial operations. Youll help shape accounting best practices streamline processes and bring forward innovative ideas for automation and efficiency. Collaborating closely with managers and leadership youll provide key financial information analysis and recommendations that drive informed decision-making. Your input will influence how the organization operates financially ensuring smooth accurate and effective accounting processes across departments and programs.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting preferably within healthcare or nonprofit.
  • Understanding of GAAP fund accounting grant compliance. and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Strong communication analytical and organizational skills with an ability to multi-task.
  • High integrity with commitment to confidentiality and capacity for mentoring.

Salary Range: $65000 DOE
