POSITION: Adjunct Professor Criminal Justice

HOURS/STATUS: Part Time/Adjunct

Responsibilities:
- Teach 3-14 contact hours each semester
- Provide required skills assistance to students
- Assist in developing course blueprints
- Assist in developing internship sites and articulation agreements with other colleges for the Justice Studies program
- Serve on campus committees and participate in campus events
- Ensure instructional success and model lifelong learning through continuous professional development
- Complete and maintain a teaching portfolio
- Teach day evening and/or weekend class at any of our area campuses
Job Requirements:
- Graduate degree in Criminal Justice or J.D. required
- Substantive employment experience in the field desired particularly in criminal investigation
- Successful teaching experience and excellent classroom skills as reflected in classroom observations student evaluations course documentation etc.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development and student success
- Commitment to continuous curriculum enhancement and application of best practices
- Strong team player
- Demonstrated ability to make meaningful and positive connections with diverse student body in a career college environment
