Job Summary

Air Liquide Europe Business Services (ALEBS) was created in 2019 in Lisbon Portugal with the mandate to provide financial services for Air Liquide European the space of 4 years it has expanded to over 400 employees based in 3 office locations: Lisbon Tomar and Guarda. The geographical scope was extended to include besides the European affiliates also entities located in Africa Middle-East and India and the operational scope was extended and includes today not just Finance but also Human Resources.

Air Liquide is reinforcing its strategic capabilities in Lisbon Tomar and Guarda Portugal and we are continually looking for talented and diverse HR Professionals to join us. This is an evergreen requisition meaning we are accepting applications for multiple potential roles across various HR functions including but not limited to: Employee Data Management Payroll Learning Support Services and Total Rewards Support Services.

In our Portugal Global Business Services your contribution will be critical to operational excellence and employee satisfaction offering a direct path to development within shared services and global operations.

  • Impact & Strategy: You will play a key role in ensuring the timely and quality service for thousands of Air Liquide employees acting as the first line of support and resolving HR inquiries concerning processes and policies across all global entities.

  • Skill Diversification: Your daily work will involve case ownership efficiently resolving inquiries using knowledge base documents (FAQs job aids) and maintaining regular contact with employees and partners until the request is closed strictly adhering to SLA commitments.

  • Innovation & Education: You will actively identify gaps in current documentation and suggest improvements to enhance our knowledge base. Furthermore you will educate users on how to navigate self-help materials and system functionalities contributing to the continuous digitalization and optimization of HR processes.

  • Global Collaboration: Work in a highly multicultural team environment interacting daily with employees from various countries and business lines. You will also properly escalate complex inquiries to the next level of support ensuring the smooth operation of the global HR function.

We are seeking diverse profilesfrom early-career professionals to seasoned expertswho possess a core blend of strategic business acumen empathy in people management and a relentless drive for organizational excellence.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Education: A university degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Human Resources Management Psychology Sociology or a related field

  • Experience: Relevant professional experience in a core HR function (e.g. Employee Data Management Payroll Learning Support Services and Total Rewards Support Service ). We encourage candidates at all levels of experience to apply.

  • Language: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential for international collaboration. Additional proficiency in Portuguese French or Spanish is a significant advantage.

  • Soft Skills: ability to manage confidential data impeccable attention to detail a proactive mindset and excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working within a Global Business Services (GBS ) or a global matrixed organization.

  • Experience in working with HR systems such as: Workday SAP SuccessFactors or Oracle HCM.

  • Knowledge of HR process optimization methodologies and experience with HR function digitalization or the implementation of new system modules.

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a complex fast-paced international business
