As a Program Coordinator you will play a crucial role by providing compassionate care while enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. This is not a supervisory role. However the PC is the lead staff for one residential In-Home program.
What You Get to Do:
- Document and follow-up of individual and program related needs.
- Ensure compliance with policies and Washington Administrative Rules.
- One-on-one training of DSP staff.
- Provide hands-on assistance encouragement mentoring and guidance.
- Ensure the comfort safety and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
- Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around getting in and out of bed dressing bathing personal hygiene and more.
- Shopping and meal preparation.
- Perform housekeeping and laundry duties including cleaning organizing maintaining a safe and tidy living environment and washing drying folding and putting away clothes and linens.
- Build relationships with persons served and teammates.
- Attend community outings and fun activities like outdoor walks games and social events.
- Transport clients to appointments or other activities outside the home.
- Empower people with disabilities to live life to the fullest.
- Document progress milestones and action steps.
Qualifications :
What Makes You A Great Fit:
- 2 years of caregiving experience required
- NAR -Preferred
- Observant and detailed oriented
- Dependable adaptable and flexible
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Valid drivers license required
- 21 years or older
- Good communication is key in this role. Youll rely on your reading writing and communication skills to document care follow support plans and collaborate with both internal and external team members.
