Job Summary
IN THIS ROLE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE TO:
Lead the development of mixed-signal electronics for products such as voltmeters phasing tools voltage detectors and dielectric testers including embedded electronics.
Define plan and coordinate product development qualification safety and regulatory compliance testing.
Conduct concept feasibility studies and technical risk evaluations for new products.
Evaluate new and emerging technologies and recommend adoption for future designs.
Ensure smooth transition to production by creating test specifications supporting design for manufacturability and collaborating with suppliers.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring for junior engineers including hands-on problem solving debugging and design reviews.
Support field investigations and resolve manufacturing or supply chain issues throughout the product lifecycle.

FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:
Bachelors / Masters degree in electrical / electronics engineering or a related field.
Minimum experience of 7 years for Bachelors OR 5 years for Masters degree in field of electronics design.
Strong proficiency in mixed-signal circuit design and PCBA layout.
Experience with test equipment and measurement techniques.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:
Knowledge of electric and magnetic field theory and its application to high-voltage measurement and safety.
Electronics design for High voltage measurement will be an added advantage.
Familiarity with electrical safety functional safety and EMC compliance standards (UL CSA CE IEC FCC).
Experience with microcontroller-based embedded systems including power management and communication interfaces.
Experience with reliability modeling and rugged environmental design for harsh high-voltage utility environments.
Hands-on experience with rechargeable battery-powered systems for low-power optimization.
Design experience with mass-produced electronics (PCBs cable assemblies sensors etc.).
Strong background in problem solving and debugging across both lab and field environments.
