We are looking for a Warehouse Material Assistant to join our Ballina team on a permanent basis. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth and compliant handling of materials from goods receipt through to dispatch supporting our mission to advance science and improve patient healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and check all incoming goods ensuring accurate booking onto the MRP system.
- Verify delivery quantities against purchase orders and report discrepancies.
- Label and store raw materials and consumables appropriately prior to QA release.
- Transfer goods to Production in a timely manner.
- Support stock checks and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Prepare and dispatch product shipments ensuring compliance with all shipping regulations and customer requirements.
- Handle dry ice shipments safely and correctly.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team leads to plan and complete daily activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
Qualifications :
- A valid forklift licence is essential. Applications cannot be considered without this requirement.
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable ideally within a regulated manufacturing or laboratory environment.
- Familiarity with MRP systems is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail good communication skills and a proactive approach to teamwork.
