You will act as the main point of contact for strategic accounts working closely with technical teams and business development colleagues to identify growth opportunities manage renewals and ensure seamless delivery of certification projects.
Required skills and experience:
- Proven success managing large complex or multinational accounts within the food certification testing inspection or compliance sectors
- Strong track record of both retaining strategic clients and winning new business
- Excellent commercial negotiation skills and contract management experience
- Strategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term client development and short-term sales targets
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with credibility at senior stakeholder levels (e.g. Quality Directors Procurement Heads Technical Managers)
- Strong CRM discipline (preferably Salesforce Dynamics or HubSpot) with experience in pipeline management and forecasting
- Comfortable working in a matrix environment and collaborating across functions and geographies
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Were seeking an experienced and driven Key Account Manager to join our growing this pivotal role youll be responsible for managing and developing relationships with our most important clients ensuring they receive outstanding service expert guidance and tailored certification solutions that add real value to their operations.
Key activities:
- Manage a portfolio of key multinational and enterprise-level accounts within the food certification sector
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to deliver revenue growth client satisfaction and long-term partnership value
- Act as the primary commercial contact for all key client stakeholders ensuring consistent communication responsiveness and trust
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand business with existing accounts through additional sites services or geographies
- Develop new business opportunities with prospective clients that fit the companys growth strategy in food certification
- Lead client negotiations prepare proposals and manage bids to secure new contracts and renewals
- Track and report on pipeline development forecasting and win/loss analysis using CRM tools.
- Work closely with Operations Technical and Delivery teams to ensure seamless service and contract execution
- Maintain high standards of CRM usage ensuring all opportunities interactions and forecasts are accurate and up to date
- Produce reports and dashboards that provide visibility of account performance revenue trends and client satisfaction metrics
- Monitor and manage client satisfaction and service quality in collaboration with delivery teams
- Lead regular business reviews with clients to demonstrate value address issues and identify growth opportunities
