Senior PAQA Engineer

What will you be doing 

We are looking for a Senior PA/QA Engineer to support the design manufacture and verification of spaceflight hardware. You will ensure high-quality standards are met across mechanisms and structural parts participate in technical reviews assess risks and work with suppliers throughout the hardware lifecycle.

Your main responsibilities will be: 

• Establish and maintain PA/QA requirements for mechanisms and structural components.
• Participate in design reviews risk assessments and technical boards for non-conformances and anomalies.
• Support materials mechanical parts and process selection including verification and contamination control.
• Inspect hardware at various stages (incoming pre-test post-test).
• Work with suppliers to ensure requirements are met and resolve non-conformances.
• Maintain quality management systems and supporting documentation.

Qualifications :

Experience skills and qualifications required: 

• Mandatory space industry experience.
• Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of experience in PA/QA for regulated manufacturing preferably spaceflight.
• Knowledge of materials mechanical parts and space hardware processes.
• Experience in testing verification and reporting.
• Strong documentation and quality management skills.
• Supplier management experience.
• Knowledge of spacecraft integration and assembly is advantageous.
