Job Summary
We are currently recruiting for a Receiver Ferrous with experience for our Hamilton location. Under the supervision of the Yard Manager the incumbent will be responsible for the general maintenance of the premises.
- Receive sort and organize different types of ferrous metals
- Properly weigh and track the material
- Do general maintenance of the premises
- Ensure the equipment in good condition
- Data entry into the RECY system
- Provide excellent customer service to clients on site
- Help with torch cutting if necessary
- Operate the crane as required
- Work with a safety oriented mindset
Qualifications :
- Experience in operating a crane
- Experience in metal recycling
- Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
- Good physical fitness
- Ability to work as a team
- Excellent attendance and safety record.
Additional Information :
Additional Information:
- Permanent and full-time position;
- 44 hours per week including some rotating weekend work
- Opportunity for overtime;
