Job Summary
We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in Montreal East (Quebec) for Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Under the authority of the Site Supervisor the Ferrous Receiver Labourer actively participates in the reception sorting and shipping of ferrous metals.
What youre responsible for :
- Greet customers and apply current procedures
- Unload sort and inspect metals
- Identify metal types and verify their quality
- Operate industrial machinery and tools (loader forklift torch)
- Work outdoors in an industrial environment
- Ensure the site is orderly and clean and perform all other related tasks
Qualifications :

- You are professional and behave safely strictly following health and safety guidelines.
- You are physically fit and comfortable with repetitive tasks.
- You are versatile resourceful and demonstrate a strong willingness to learn.
- You are comfortable working in an industrial environment (noisy dusty varying temperatures working outdoors most of the time).
- You have good priority management skills and work well in a team.
- You have knowledge of metals and/or experience with a forklift or loader (an asset).
