Your part in our UnitingCare team
Work in partnership with the person being supported their family and informalsupport networks toattainthe hopes and aspirations they haveestablishedfortheir lives
Provide support to people in their everyday living situations including personalcare asidentified with an emphasis on choice enhancing quality of life
Participate in the development implementation and review of individual plansthat focus on the life hopes and aspirations of people
Enable people toattainpersonal autonomy over their own lives and theservices which they receive
Recognise and uphold the right to respect privacy dignity and confidentiality ofthe person being supported and their family
What makes a difference for us
Able to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment and provide excellent support to clients and co-workers
Flexible availability through the week with willingness to work weekends and sleepover shifts
Able to effectively communicate in spoken and written English
Experience working in the Disability Aged and Community sector is ideal but not essential as long asyou have positive attitude and a willingness to learn
A current NDIS Worker Screening check and Blue Card dontworry if youdonthave one as we can help you apply prior to employment
OpenDriversLicense; and
Current CPR and First Aid Certificate (before youstart)
