Your part in our UnitingCare team

  • Work in partnership with the person being supported their family and informalsupport networks toattainthe hopes and aspirations they haveestablishedfortheir lives

  • Provide support to people in their everyday living situations including personalcare asidentified with an emphasis on choice enhancing quality of life

  • Participate in the development implementation and review of individual plansthat focus on the life hopes and aspirations of people

  • Enable people toattainpersonal autonomy over their own lives and theservices which they receive

  • Recognise and uphold the right to respect privacy dignity and confidentiality ofthe person being supported and their family

What makes a difference for us

  • Able to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment and provide excellent support to clients and co-workers

  • Flexible availability through the week with willingness to work weekends and sleepover shifts

  • Able to effectively communicate in spoken and written English

  • Experience working in the Disability Aged and Community sector is ideal but not essential as long asyou have positive attitude and a willingness to learn

  • A current NDIS Worker Screening check and Blue Card dontworry if youdonthave one as we can help you apply prior to employment

  • OpenDriversLicense; and

  • Current CPR and First Aid Certificate (before youstart)
