The University of Iowa Academic Advising Center is seeking a detail-oriented and service-minded Administrative Testing Programs Coordinator (100% appointment) to join our team!
This position plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the Academic Advising Center working closely with the director team to coordinate purchasing travel arrangements and a variety of administrative needs. The role also provides occasional support to our front office assisting with phones and reception coverage to ensure a welcoming environment for students and visitors. In this role you will also have the opportunity to:
Serve as a back-up to the Front Desk Manager and provide support to work study students as needed.
Perform all aspects of administrative support for a location or a department.
Collaborate with campus IT staff and building staff related to the administration of standardized testing
Maintain staff listing for the AAC and track longevity awards.

Required Qualifications:
A Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Experience in an administrative office function (minimum 6 months to 1 year).
This position requires weekend availability as frequent as 7 weekends per semester.

Desirable Qualifications:
Experience in a related capacity is desirable.
Demonstrates basic knowledge of and insight into the Universitys and Academic Advising Centers vision structure culture philosophy operating principles values and code of ethics; demonstrates basic ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to a variety of situations.
Demonstrates basic knowledge of University policies and processes related to purchasing and travel arrangements.
