About the Service & Location
Based in the heart of Armidale youll be part of the New England North West Specialist Palliative Care Service providing care in clients homes and community settings. Nestled within a picturesque rural landscape Armidale offers the ideal balance of a relaxed lifestyle and professional fulfilment. Our multidisciplinary service includes Registered Nurses a Social Worker Occupational Therapist Dietitian and Palliative Care Medical Officer supported by Clinical Nurse Consultants and a Community Health Nurse Educator. Together we ensure clients and families receive holistic person-centred care that honours their preferences values and quality of life.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse you will provide complex specialised nursing care to clients and families living with life-limiting illness. Your role will involve:
Youll work autonomously while being fully supported by a skilled and compassionate team giving you the opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of your patients and their families. You wont be alone in this role! You will receive an orientation and ongoing support from the team access to specialist palliative care education and professional development opportunities and mentorship and guidance from experienced leaders.
