Youll work alongside highly skilled Oncologists specialising in breast pancreatic gastrointestinal neurological and gynaecological cancers and Haematologists with expertise in lymphoma leukaemia and myeloma.
Our unit cares for patients throughout their cancer journeyfrom diagnosis and active treatment to palliative careacross a wide range of cancers including breast renal pancreatic colorectal gastric and lung cancers. About You
You are an experienced Oncology or Haematology nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and achieving highquality clinical outcomes. You communicate with compassion build rapport with ease and value the impact of collaborative teamwork. Youre enthusiastic about ongoing development and are seeking to grow your skills and career within a supportive environment.
You will bring the following:
- Current AHPRA Registered Nurse registration
- Chemotherapy competency or a willingness to undertake chemotherapy training
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience or completion of a hospital graduate program
- Competency in venepuncture IV cannulation and central venous access device (CVAD) management or a willingness to complete training
- A genuine interest in oncology including supporting patients and families through diagnosis treatment and palliative care
