Registered Nurses PACU & Anaesthetics (Casual Resource Unit)

The Central Resource Unit is seeking casual operating room staff that can work at a choice of either Epworth Richmond Freemasons Eastern Hawthorn and Geelong in the specialty area of PACU and or Anaesthetics.

Workforce Need

PACU

• High need for Wednesdays and Fridays however recruiting for Monday Friday AM and PM  
• Those who can work Twilight shifts (17:00 starts) are highly desirable 

Anaesthetics 

• High need for Wednesdays and Thursday however recruiting for Monday Friday AM and PM 
• Those who can work Twilight shifts (17:00 starts) are highly desirable 

To be successful in this role: 

As a Registered Nurse on a operating room team composed of patient-centred nurses you are an effective communicator who adapts easily to various situations. You naturally demonstrate compassion and empathy toward patients. With a solutions-focused mindset you prioritise the patients needs in every decision you make and you enjoy working collaboratively with your team. 

You will have: 

• Minimum of 18 months of relevant experience 
• Flexibility to work across more than 1 location and those who are able to work across different roles is highly regarded 

Position Description       Inherent Requirements (Perioperative)

Qualifications :

• Current RN AHPRA registration 
• Postgraduate qualificationin Perioperative Nursing if applicable will be highly regarded but not essential
