We are seeking compassionate motivated and reliable Behavioral Technicians to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others while working in a collaborative supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to individuals with TBI and/or SCI in a residential outpatient or community-based setting.
- Implement behavior plans designed by clinical staff to help individuals achieve their therapeutic and personal goals.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) mobility and social integration as needed.
- Document behavioral observations progress and incidents accurately and timely.
- Support individuals in developing skills such as communication self-care socialization and emotional regulation.
- Collaborate with clinical nursing and therapy teams to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain a safe respectful and engaging environment for all clients.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience working with individuals with TBI SCI or other neurological conditions is preferred but not required - training provided.
- Ability to follow individualized care and behavior plans accurately.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
- Ability to lift transfer or assist clients with mobility as needed (training provided).
- CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
