A well-regarded healthcare facility in Pittsfield MA is seeking a skilled MRI Technician to join its diagnostic imaging team. This full-time position plays a vital role in the delivery of quality imaging services and patient care. The role calls for a motivated professional capable of working independently while ensuring patient safety maintaining imaging equipment and upholding high technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a broad range of MRI procedures using independent judgment and technical skill
Ensure safe and compassionate patient care following departmental and hospital protocols
Operate and troubleshoot MRI equipment including PACS HIS RIS CR and DR systems
Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and hospital infection control practices
Participate in educational activities and complete required competency validations
May take on supervisory or mentoring responsibilities depending on departmental needs

Qualifications:

Completion of an AMA-approved program in MRI
CPR certification required
ARRT(MR) certification required within two years of hire
Massachusetts Radiography License preferred
ARRT(RTR) certification preferred
Student training in MRI or diagnostic radiology is accepted as minimum experience

Required Skills:

Proficiency with MRI equipment and related systems (PACS HIS RIS)
Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced high-pressure clinical setting
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety and confidentiality
Strong organizational and communication skills
