Overview
An outstanding opportunity is available for an experienced Behavioral Health Nursing leader to join a progressive acute care facility in the Florida Panhandle. This role oversees all inpatient behavioral health operations ensuring the delivery of safe high-quality patient-centered care.
As the Behavioral Health RN Director you will be responsible for the overall function staffing and operational success of the Behavioral Health Unit (BHU). Youll lead a team of engaged professionals promote a culture of accountability and collaboration and partner with hospital leadership to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic and operational leadership to the Behavioral Health Unit.

Ensure quality patient care standards are met through effective clinical oversight and team management.

Develop and monitor departmental goals budgets and staffing plans.

Implement policies and procedures that align with facility objectives and regulatory standards.

Foster collaboration across departments to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.

Lead coach and mentor staff to promote professional development and performance excellence.
Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 5 years of recent inpatient behavioral health leadership experience (Manager or Assistant Nurse Manager) within an acute care hospital.

Education: Bachelors Degree in Nursing required.

Licensure: Active RN license required.
