Why We Have This Role

Were looking for a talented Enterprise Account Executive to lead our sales efforts within the Public Sector across Australia and New Zealand. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth by managing the full sales cycle from prospecting and relationship building to closing deals and ensuring excellent client outcomes. Positioned in Canberra youll work closely with government agencies and public organisations to deliver technology solutions that create meaningful impact. You will play a key role in advancing digital transformation initiatives that improve public services and citizen experiences across the region.

  • Proven success selling SaaS solutions into the public sector or complex enterprise environments
  • Skilled at building trusted relationships with senior decision-makers in government and related organisations

Things Youll Do

  • Own and drive all sales activities within your territory managing the pipeline from lead prospecting to deal closure
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets set by your Sales Director by delivering exceptional client service
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior public sector stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Lead compelling presentations and product demonstrations tailored to various public sector agencies and departments
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans leveraging sales methodologies to secure and expand business
  • Collaborate closely with marketing teams to run targeted demand generation campaigns and capitalize on event leads
  • Represent Qualtrics at public sector events conferences and industry associations to strengthen market presence
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to develop winning proposals and pricing approaches

What Were Looking For On Your Resume

  • 10 years of successful enterprise SaaS sales experience ideally with a focus on the public sector
  • Proven track record of quota attainment and managing complex sales cycles end-to-end
  • Strong pipeline development and sales forecasting skills
  • Experience engaging senior government stakeholders and navigating public sector procurement processes
  • Ability to craft strategic account plans and drive cross-functional execution
  • Growth mindset with resilience adaptability and a collaborative spirit
  • Familiarity with or similar CRM platforms preferred
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Public Policy or a related field is advantageous
