We at WorkShop are now looking for a Director of Brand & Business Strategy to strengthen our position as a strategic partner to some of the worlds leading consumer and retail brands!
In this senior role youll drive the development of brand and business strategies for key clients from go-to-market activation and retail experience strategy to communication and channel planning. Youll ensure our work creates measurable brand impact and commercial results.
At the same time youll take ownership of WorkShops own brand positioning and marketing narrative ensuring our story is clear differentiated and consistently expressed across markets.
What you will do
Client Brand & Business Strategy:
Lead strategic development for priority clients across brand positioning retail activation and commercial campaign strategy
Translate brand direction and business goals into integrated activation strategies across physical retail and digital channels
Partner closely with Creative Leads Account Directors and Operations teams to turn strategic direction into impactful execution
Run strategic workshops insight deep-dives market analysis and customer journey mapping
Guide clients in developing channel strategies that connect brand expression to measurable business outcomes
Oversee appointed key client P&Ls
Commercial & Growth Strategy:
Support key account development by identifying growth opportunities and long-term strategic roadmaps
Play a key role in shaping new business pitches case storytelling and overall strategic narratives
Bring analytical rigor and structured thinking to complex client challenges
WorkShop Brand Positioning & Marketing:
Own and evolve WorkShops brand positioning in the market
Ensure our story who we are what we offer and why it matters is consistently communicated across all touchpoints
Guide internal content creation (case studies thought leadership awards strategy industry presence)
Represent WorkShops strategic capabilities externally in client leadership meetings and industry forums
Service Development & Strategic Enablement:
Identify opportunities to productize strategic and creative services for scalability and margin improvement
Bring market intelligence and trend insights into the organization to inspire new thinking
Build strategic frameworks tools and methods that strengthen how we collaborate across teams and markets
Who you are
We believe youre a strategic thinker with a strong passion for brand culture and commerce. You can move seamlessly from big-picture strategy to hands-on activation and are comfortable leading conversations with senior stakeholders. We also believe you:
Have a solid background in brand strategy marketing strategy or brand activation (agency or brand side)
Have a proven ability to connect brand building with commercial outcomes
Have excellent communication and facilitation skills especially with senior clients
Have experience navigating from board-level framing to tactical activation
Have curiosity and insight into retail consumer culture shopper psychology and the future of brand experience
Are fluent in both English and Swedish
