Our client is on the lookout for a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join their team and maintain a fleet of heavy vehicles and equipment.
The role involves servicing diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related systems on lorries forklift and cranes to ensure reliable performance and minimal downtime.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Inspect service and repair diesel-powered trucks forklifts cranes and telehandlers.
- Diagnose mechanical electrical and hydraulic faults and carry out corrective repairs.
- Conduct preventative maintenance in line with schedules and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
- Source and fit replacement parts as required.
- Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards in the workshop.
- Assist in planning and coordinating maintenance schedules for the fleet.
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines hydraulics transmissions and electrical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Safety-conscious with attention to detail.
- Experience in an agricultural or construction equipment environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic or equivalent technical certification.
- Proven experience working with heavy vehicles and machinery (lorries cranes forklifts telehandlers).
