Job Summary
Introduction
An opportunity exists for a Case Manager to support the coordination of patient care and ensure optimal clinical and financial outcomes within specialised units. The role requires a strong understanding of clinical coding funder requirements and patient case management processes.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Nursing Physiotherapy Clinical Associates Paramedics (Critical Care Assistants/Emergency Care Practitioners) or similar qualification with a solid foundation in Anatomy Physiology Pathophysiology and Microbiology
Registered with the relevant professional/regulatory body (SANC or equivalent)
Previous experience in case management utilisation review or clinical coding
Understanding of medical aid funder rules co-payments exclusions and COID processes
Strong business acumen with change management exposure
Excellent organisational analytical and computer literacy skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and funders
