Job Summary

Were seeking a professional and organized Receptionist to join a reputable company in the insurance industry. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys providing excellent customer service and keeping an office running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors and answer incoming calls directing them to the right team members.
  • Handle mail faxes couriers and deliveries (incoming and outgoing).
  • Process payments received in person or by phone and issue receipts.
  • Maintain office supplies including paper letterhead and printer materials.
  • Schedule courier services and coordinate mailouts.
  • Support general administrative tasks such as filing data entry and document organization.
  • Keep the reception and boardroom areas tidy and presentable.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanour at all times.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business administration is an asset.
  • 12 years of experience in an office or administrative role preferred.
  • Strong organizational multitasking and communication skills.
  • Friendly professional and proactive attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook) and comfortable learning new systems.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage confidential information.
  • Reliable and punctual with strong time management skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $50000 $55000 annually with annual performance-based increases
  • 3 weeks vacation in the first year; 4 weeks after the first year
  • Comprehensive benefits package after probation including 3% RRSP matching
