Job Description

A reputable title company is seeking a versatile experienced and detail-oriented professional to join our team as anEscrow Funder / Escrow Assistant. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives on precision and organization managing the critical final stages of the closing process while providing essential support to the Escrow team.

The successful candidate will be directly responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all financial disbursements and efficiently managing the daily escrow file process. Your focus on detail will be key to successful and timely closings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review executed loan and closing documents foraccuracy completeness and complianceprior to final funding.
  • Balance and prepare escrow files for funding ensuring all closing conditions have been met.
  • Initiate and verify wire transfers for the disbursement of loan proceeds and closing funds.
  • Provide comprehensive support to the Escrow Officer including managing incoming documents data entry file organization and maintaining efficient workflows.
  • Serve as a professional point of contact communicating effectively with real estate agents lenders buyers and sellers to provide status updates and resolve inquiries promptly.
  • Handle general administrative tasks such as managing correspondence answering phones and maintaining organized office records.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of title funding experience
  • 2 years of escrow assistant experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelors degree is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate concepts loan documents and Arizona title and escrow procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-specific software (e.g. SoftPro ResWare or RamQuest).
