Compensation:$100000$150000 (DOE) bonus profit sharing

Overview

The Construction Project Manager will oversee all phases of commercial and multi-family construction projects across Northern California from preconstruction through completion. This role requires strong leadership technical expertise and financial acumen to manage schedules budgets and teams effectively. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment fosters collaboration between field and office teams and is committed to delivering high-quality projects safely on time and within budget.

Must Haves

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or a related field or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager overseeing ground-up and renovation projects
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from pre-construction through closeout
  • Strong understanding of construction practices means and methods and building systems
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets schedules and contracts effectively
  • Excellent communication leadership and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook) and project management software such as Microsoft Project Primavera P6 & Procore
  • Strong problem-solving analytical and decision-making skills
  • Ability to lead project teams and foster collaboration across departments
  • Commitment to maintaining safety quality and productivity standards


Nice to Haves

  • Experience managing self-performed work in concrete framing or other trades
  • Background in commercial and multi-family construction projects
  • History of mentoring project engineers or junior staff
  • Familiarity with both private and public sector construction environments
  • Experience working with repeat clients and maintaining long-term relationships
  • Understanding of pre-construction processes including estimating and buyout
  • Experience with mixed-use or hospitality projects
  • Demonstrated ability to drive project profitability through value engineering and cost control


Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of construction projects including planning budgeting scheduling and execution
  • Lead project teams to ensure adherence to design scope budget and timelines
  • Collaborate with field superintendents to maintain job-site safety quality and schedule compliance
  • Oversee and approve subcontractor agreements purchase orders and change orders
  • Track costs prepare progress billings and manage cash flow for assigned projects
  • Review subcontractor invoices and vendor payments for accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain up-to-date project documentation RFIs submittals and change management logs
  • Conduct regular project meetings and communicate progress with clients and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with all contract requirements specifications and building codes
  • Proactively identify and resolve project issues conflicts and risks
  • Promote a culture of safety and quality across all project activities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
  • Represent the companys values of integrity teamwork and continuous improvement in all interactions
