Job Summary

Evaluate IT resource investment use and allocation practices to ensure alignment with the organizations strategies and objectives.

Establish service-level management practices to ensure that the level of service from internal and external service providers is defined and managed.

Lead the operations management practices exercise to ensure that IT support functions effectively meet business needs.

Evaluate the adequacy of backup and restore provisions to ensure the availability of information required to resume processing.

Plan specific audits to ensure that IT and business systems are protected and controlled.

Keeping the Track of IT Assets

Ensure reliability and effectiveness of connectivity between the Central Data Center and Corporate Office

Ensure validity of Production Test and Development environment of the Central Server

Co-ordinate with Manager for suitable up-gradation in the applications (on the application server) Data Center hardware and Networking components

Supervise and coordinate the implementation of hardware and networking to meet with stated Business Requirements

Manage all hardware maintenance upkeep and replacement and procurement related issues

Oversee the operation of the help desk for all Hardware Software and Network related problems

Identify required up-gradation enhancements and replacements required for Hardware and Networking based on periodic review and user feedback

Ensure adherence of standard operating procedures to stipulated guidelines

Ensures that access to all server applications and data communication networks are adequately secured and restricted to authorized users only.

Oversee maintenance of WAN & LAN across all units and delivery channels

Resolves issues on database administration and system administration. Guides and trains concerned staff accordingly.

Provides technical and professional assistance to subordinates/collegues to enhance efficiency level.
